Apple Watch is currently one of the most reliable smartwatches today. In addition to convenient functions such as texting, making calls, listening to music, checking information on the iPhone, and helping at work, Apple Watch also works very effectively in tracking the user’s health. Recently, this same Apple Watch saved its owner’s life when he encountered an unexpected incident.
Brandon Schneider is a 25-year-old man who currently lives in Long Island (USA). As an active man, Brandon is always interested in his health and exercises regularly by horseback riding, walking or running 5 or 6 times a week. Like many others, he uses the Apple Watch to monitor his health.
Recently, Brandon suddenly felt severe stomach pain for many days, so on July 12, he decided to go to the hospital with his father for a medical checkup. On the way he stopped to go to the bathroom but there he lost consciousness and most likely hit his head on the ground or some hard object when he fell. The Apple Watch immediately detected a hard fall, and at the same time, Bradon did not respond to the haptic notification that should have been answered within 45 seconds. The Apple smartwatch then sent an alert to the medical center and Brandon’s father, who was waiting outside.

Brandon needed a lot of stitches after surgery
Brandon was immediately taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. CT scan results showed he had a skull fracture, as well as a severe, life-threatening hematoma, forcing him to undergo emergency brain surgery. Without an Apple Watch prompt, it’s hard to say what would have happened to the 25-year-old man.
