Apex Legends fans paid tribute to TSM’s Phillip ‘ImperialHal’ Dosen after urging his teammates not to shoot disconnected opponents during the ALGS Championship battle royale. Dosen saw his immobile opponent on the field and decided not to shoot her as he realized they could lose connection or crash the game.
The 2022 Apex Legends Global Series Championship takes place from July 7-10 with a prize pool of $2 million. The TSM team had a difficult start in their draw, so a single point is valuable for this team. However, when he discovered that the opponent was immobile, Dosen declared almost immediately: “This person is dead.” He then went on to tell his teammates, “Brothers, don’t shoot, don’t shoot, he’s dead.”
In the clip that captures the moment, the TSM players nervously look at their teammates and try to determine what they should do next. But Dosen is adamant: “He’s 100% out or down. Don’t shoot, it’s Scarz,” one of TSM’s standout head-to-head teams. In the end, TSM decided to back off, Dosen slipping into a nearby building when someone fired a gun in his direction. Dosen’s actions helped both TSM and Scarz reach the next round of the ALGS Championship.
