Ubisoft recently announced a new crossover event between Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Capcom’s action RPG Monster Hunter World. This collaboration allows Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players to outfit their Eivor, mounts, and rangers with costumes/skins designed after iconic monsters from Monster Hunter World.
For die-hard fans of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, this event shouldn’t come as a surprise. Previously, a trove of game data revealed that new armor sets from Destiny 2 and Monster Hunter World will be appearing in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. In fact, Destiny 2 skins arrived in Valhalla on December 1st. And a few weeks later, Monster Hunter World themed armor sets will also be available in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
The Crossover event features an armor set modeled after the Odogaron armor from Monster Hunter World, an Odogaron mount skin, and a skin that turns Eivor’s ranger into a clone of the miniature ice monster Legiana. Players can also wield a number of Monster Hunter World-themed weapons, such as the Garon Hatchet ax and Garon Rod spear. These are weapons inspired by Monster Hunter World and have been adapted to fit the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla universe. Many fans of both video games expressed their approval for this collaboration. However, some people are wondering why it took so long for the two companies to work together, especially since Monster Hunter World has done similar events with Assassin’s Creed in the past.
