Avatar Reckoning: Disney and Tencent Reveal a Mobile FPS Game Based on the Blockbuster Avatar

In addition to Ubisoft’s Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and the mobile title Avatar: Pandora Rising, the third game based on director James Cameron’s hit series has been announced. Avatar: Reckoning is the new massively multiplayer online role-playing game for mobile devices. The game is a collaboration between many parties including Archosaur Games, Tencent, Cameron-led Lightstorm Entertainment, and Disney.

Reckoning will be released in 2022 on iOS and Android. The game will take players to mysterious lands that have not been featured in the Pandora movies. Players will meet and help the Na’vi tribe in their fight to defend their homeland against RDA forces, who are trying to seize Pandora’s resources. The game has single player and multiplayer modes.

Players will create an Avatar character and complete missions in main story, co-op, and PvP modes. Reckoning is developed using Unreal Engine 4 technology and promises to bring the most advanced graphics. The developer has yet to reveal the gameplay for Avatar: Reckoning.
