“I was supposed to go to bed at 10 p.m. because I had to get up at 6 a.m. the next day. I have tons of lines and stuff like that. But I stayed up until 4 in the morning playing Oblivion.”

James McAvoy started playing at 8 p.m. and didn’t leave until 5:35 a.m. the next morning. Only 10 minutes later, he had to get in the car to go to the filming location without having time to sleep. It went on like this for a while, James realized that he had to take drastic measures to put an end to this, so he took out his Xbox 360 version of Oblivion, turned on the gas stove, and burned it down.

The 42-year-old actor was away from football for a decade, until he returned to FIFA with his young son. After that, James also tried to play Call of Duty: Warzone with friends for a long time at home due to the pandemic.
