Call of Duty: Warzone has long faced numerous hackers and cheaters. So it’s no surprise that the next game in the series, Vanguard, will experience a similar fate since open beta.
As reported by Waypoint, cheaters started the item in the Call of Duty: Vanguard beta. The Vanguard beta was not equipped with the new anti-cheat system, so the bad guys took advantage of this and easily finished the game. Hackers can move so quickly because much of Vanguard’s code is similar to the Modern Warfare reboot.
The Call of Duty engine hasn’t changed much over the course of the series’ development, so it’s always been easy to transfer cheats from game to game. Also, the beta phase is the best time to be the first to hack games and promote cheat services.

Call of Duty: Vanguard will launch on November 5. Activision’s new anti-cheat system will go live around the same time. The CoD community hopes that the system will be robust enough to protect the Call of Duty series against constant attacks by hackers.
