Cross Worlds will launch globally this summer

Netmarble is set to launch Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds to players around the world this summer. This is a collaborative project with Level-5 (developer of Inazuma Eleven, Yokai Watch) and the famous Studio Ghibli. In addition, the game’s music is provided by the genius composer Joe Hisaishi. Previously, fans had the opportunity to experience 5 games based on the worldview of Ni no Kuni, but none of them belonged to the MMORPG genre and were developed for mobile phones.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds follows players in a fantasy VR game called Soul Diver and they are transported to the world of Ni no Kuni. Although this world is supposed to be virtual, many players find it to be a real world linked to their original world. The player is tasked with stopping dark plots carried out quietly by mysterious forces to destroy the peace between both worlds.

The overall world of Cross Worlds is super charming and fun, but it doesn’t hit a breaking point in terms of features. Players can build and run their own kingdom. The game has 5 character classes: engineer, destroyer, swordsman, witch, and archer. The game has a total of 8 languages.
