The Game Awards event is coming up and there will be up to 40 announcements announced during the event. The possibility of Diablo 4 news being among the earlier announcements continues to garner attention thanks to a new leak, revealing the exact 2023 release date for the next game in the Diablo series.
Although Blizzard has scheduled Diablo 4 for a 2023 release, this information is still not enough to satisfy Diablo fans. They really can’t wait to find out exactly when the sequel to the hit series will be released. According to the latest leak from Aggiornementi Lumia (a Twitter account that specializes in leaking information related to Xbox and Microsoft stores), Diablo 4 will launch two months later than originally rumored, on June 5, 2023.
In addition to the release date information, the capacity of Diablo 4 was also revealed, the game will occupy 80 GB of the player’s storage drive. The leak also lists different versions of the game, including Standard, Digital Deluxe, and Ultimate editions, though the differences in price and item/reward content of the earlier versions have not been revealed. If Diablo 4 is actually released in 2023, the game will end the 4-year wait since it was announced and the 11-year wait since Diablo 3.
