Players can change their character’s Class weekly later in the latest Diablo Immortal update. This switching mechanism allows the player to freely switch to a new class in the RPG every seven days.
In the latest blog post, Blizzard explains that Diablo Immortal’s class change mechanism unlocks when the character reaches level 35. Players can change to a new class for free when they visit the Shifting Flames in Westmarch. Players can change classes once a week, the developer said that they currently have no plans to sell the feature that will allow players to change classes more frequently. The player has a unique option to return to the previous Class.

During their first transition to a new Class, Blizzard says that players will receive a set of placeholder gear with roughly the same rank as the gear used for their previous Class. Equipment and specific skins from the old Class will not carry over to the new Class, but the items will still be in the inventory, ready for when the player decides to return to the old Class.
Additionally, the update introduces a new endgame activity called Hero’s Journey, which is unlocked during the Frozen Tundra portion of the main quest. Hero’s Journey will be released with four chapters and two more are planned to be released in the future. The update also changes the weekly Clan Wars to give players a chance to earn an Eternal Legendary Badge for 1600 Platinum upon mission completion. Blizzard also released 36 new Legendary items, designed to give players more options when it comes to using damage over time effects.
