Konami recently made an effort to reinvent their PES football game by changing it to eFootball, but unfortunately its launch proved disastrous despite these attempts at change. Players found the experience awkward and off-putting; one could argue it ranks amongst some of the worst games released through Steam this year.
Though eFootball has since improved, fans still aren’t satisfied with what’s offered here. As a free-to-play game that mainly emphasizes online gameplay and offers limited offline options to enjoy, players may earn GP through Starter Events as they compete against one another online in various league challenges, yet offline content remains scarce.
Desappointment intensified further when many features that made previous editions of PES exceptional, such as Become A Legend and Master League modes, were missing this time around. Such modes contributed significantly to PES’ popularity since they offered greater depth than what competitor EA offered at that time.
KONAMI’s eFootball can be downloaded onto both Android devices and PC/Mac computers using BlueStacks app player. However, for optimal gameplay experience it is advised that eFootball be played using BlueStacks instead.
