Elden Ring opens the Colosseum in the next update

The Game Awards honoring gaming has made Elden Ring the talk of the town once again, but FromSoftware has just given fans another reason to look forward to the title with an update: the upcoming Colosseum. Many fans have been eagerly waiting for the Colosseum arenas to open ever since they were found, and FromSoftware will complete the Elden Ring community on December 7 (December 8 local time).

FromSoftware has released a new trailer for Elden Ring, showing the highlights of the battles in the Colosseum. While the game’s PVP community has long operated with some unwritten rules that many players follow, the update offers a different way to engage in PVP.

When the Elden Ring update arrives, the Limgrave, Lyndell and Caelid Coliseum will open its doors to players. FromSoftware has apparently left some mystery around these locations, but the developer has also confirmed that players can engage in duels and team fights. The Colosseum update is available for free to all Elden Ring owners.
