Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has finalized its arrival date

At the end of September’s PlayStation State of Play event, Square Enix released a new trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and confirmed February 29, 2024 as the game’s release date. The trailer also shows off some new details coming to Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, including Cloud riding a segway and some new attractions in the Gold Saucer park.

The new trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth comes just over three months since the game was officially released to the public at Summer Game Fest. The new game will immediately follow the events of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. At the summer event, Square Enix presented locations such as Kalm Inn, the canyon above Junon Harbor and many fields where Cloud and his teammates will move both with chocobos and on their own two feet.

Square Enix has narrowed down the game’s release to a specific timeline in the latest trailer. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will release on February 29, 2024. Players can start pre-ordering Rebirth today. The new trailer confirms that Cait Sith and Vincent Valentine will appear in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. This makes Cid Highwind the last member of the original cast of characters yet to be released in the FF7 Remake series at this time.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth also features other summons for Cloud and his teammates, including Odin, Kujata, Leviathan, and Alexander. In addition to exploring the world on the back of a chocobo, Cloud can also participate in chocobo races at Gold Saucer Park. Chocobo and motorcycle racing are fun mini-games from the original FF7 game.
