Ghostrunner 2 closes the release date in October this year

505 Games has officially announced that Ghostrunner 2, the sequel to the 2020 sci-fi title, will hit stores in 2 months. Ghostrunner 2 will have to compete with other blockbuster games when it picks up its October 26 release.

After its release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Ghostrunner has achieved remarkable success, especially after being updated to the new generation of Consoles, PS5 and Xbox X|S. In May 2021, developer 505 Games announced that Ghostrunner 2 was in the works.

After more than 2 years of waiting, 505 Games has finally officially announced that Part 2 will be released on October 26. The developer has also opened pre-orders for Ghostrunner 2 with three versions: the standard version ($39.99 USD), the Deluxe Edition ($49.99 USD). ) and Brutal Edition ($69.99 USD) will give players early access 48 hours in advance. Additionally, players who pre-order Ghostrunner 2 will receive a variety of fashion items corresponding to each version.

The latest trailer also introduces a lot about the Ghostrunner sequel, especially in terms of plot, gameplay, and mechanics. Players will first see ninja protagonist Jack escape the Dharma Tower’s death trap and explore the wasteland far beyond. 505 Games said that Part 2 promises to improve on the quality of the original in many ways, including the bike battles. The developer further revealed that the upcoming title will also feature new powers, upgradable abilities, movement mechanics, an expanded story, deeper worlds, and new evil enemies.

Ghostrunner 2 is the latest game to confirm its October release date, 505 Games’ game will have to compete with heavyweights like Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Spider-Man 2, and Forza Motorsport this month.
