Love Nikki Fashion Star Game will have an open world version

Former Zelda director Kentaro Tominaga is directing production on Infinity Nikki, the open-world adaptation of Fashion Star. The world of Infinity Nikki has similarities and attractions like Disney’s animated movies.

The official Infinity Nikki website describes the game as an open-world fashion adventure. And that is exactly what is shown in the new trailer. Infinity Nikki also has a core gameplay loop that combines open world exploration with puzzle solving similar to Breath of the Wild or Genshin Impact. The trailer also shows that Nikki can be resized at will and will have life features like fishing. Prior to joining Studio Papergames, Director Tominaga was a designer and development manager for BotW.

In Infinity Nikki, the main character can immediately change her clothes at any time. The trailer shows off some pretty dresses, showing the high standards of the games that are primarily aimed at women. The costumes aren’t overly sexy, but they do give a nice light feel compared to the costumes in many other games. According to the interview with IGN China, different outfits will allow Nikki to use different special abilities.

Infinity Nikki currently does not have a specific release date, but the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices.
