Metro Exodus: FPS with great graphics becomes even more terrible with the new improved version

Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition is scheduled to launch next week and comes with major visual improvements that overhaul the lighting system, making “every light source detectable.” The update also brings support for DLSS 2.0 to balance performance requirements.

Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition will officially launch on May 6. While access to the title is free for those who own the original on Steam, Epic, GOG or the Microsoft Store, the Enhanced Edition is not an update. This is a completely separate product. Save files will be converted to Enhanced Edition under common platform conditions (Steam, Epic, GOG, MS).

The system requirements are quite modest for a ray-traced game. According to the developer, Enhanced Edition can run with ray tracing on RTX 2070 or RX 6800 XT at 1080p and 60 fps and without DLSS.

Metro Exodus inherently has excellent graphics and if ray tracing is installed, players will experience more impressive things in the world of this game.
