Netflix has launched a cloud gaming trial service, and only a handful of users in the UK and Canada can access the service. The Cloud Gaming service is available now on select TVs and will be coming to PC and Mac in the coming weeks via the Netflix website on supported browsers.

The two games participating in the beta are Night School Studio’s Oxenfree and Molehew’s Mining Adventure. Gamers use smartphones as controllers to play games on TV. As for PC and Mac, users will use keyboard and mouse.

“We’ve been focused on creating great gaming experiences for our customers since 2021 when we brought games to Netflix,” said Mike Verdu, Netflix’s vice president of mobile gaming. Our goal has always been to provide games for everyone, and we’re working hard to meet the needs of our members with a service that’s accessible, seamless, and popular. While Netflix’s gaming journey is in its early stages, we’re excited to bring joy to our members through gaming.”
