Ni no Kuni: Worlds Crossed

Ni no Kuni: Worlds Crossed

First announced at G-Star 2019, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is finally ready for release… but only in the Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese markets. Developer Netmarble also announced that the mobile MMORPG based on the popular Ni no Kuni IP will be released in June this year. Similar to the setup of the original, the mobile version allows players to explore two separate worlds.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds focuses on more community elements to help players interact and enjoy the game with friends. In the open world, players can play dice, play music, and do many other activities with their friends. With these features, Netmarble wants players to create community groups in the most natural way.

The MMORPG series usually has a lot of PvP features, but Cross Worlds focuses on the “fun factor.” Players will not find it interesting with just the PvP feature. Excitement increases when people work together and build a community. Therefore, the existence of the “Kingdom” system will allow players to build and maintain their country. Additionally, kingdoms can compete in the promising mini-game “Battle to Protect the Kingdom.”

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds has a completely new plot, with no direct connection to the story of Ni no Kuni. Despite the same worldview, Cross Worlds is set in the distant future. Players will feel familiar emotions like in the original game. Characters, maps, monsters and more from Ni no Kuni 2 will appear in Cross Worlds. With a different plot and game genre (MMORPG), Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds will not have a specific “ending” like previous games. Netmarble will continue to prepare and update excellent content for the game after its release.
