The artwork for the new season was recently revealed by developer Niantic. Fans were expecting a series of events surrounding Legends: Arceus: Pokemon Go has held some sort of event to promote the next big Pokemon games. But making the new game the theme of an entire season of Pokémon Go is a big step forward.
Legends: Arceus is set in a pre-Sinnoh region called Hisui. Several new forms and evolutions of Pokémon exclusive to the Hisui region are likely to appear in Pokémon Go, including the fire/rock-type Hisuian Growlithe, a new evolution of Stantler called Wyrdeer, and Kleavor, an alternate evolution for Scyther.
The highlight of the update is the release of Arceus. This legendary Pokémon is known as the god of all Pokémon because it can turn into any of 18 types of Pokémon (Rock, Water, Fire, etc.) Heritage Season will be released on December 1.
