Pokemon UNITE: Pokemon MOBA game officially launched on mobile

Last night, the developer of Pokémon UNITE dropped the latest trailer for the game and revealed the official release date. Consequently, this Pokémon MOBA game is coming to the mobile gaming community today (September 22), and it will support cross-play between mobile devices and Nintendo Switch.

Pokemon UNITE, the first MOBA game in the Pokemon universe, has been hugely successful since its release last July on Nintendo Switch with a total of 9 million downloads. The game takes place on an uncharted island in the middle of the ocean called Aeos Island. Players will form teams of 5 to try and battle wild Pokémon, defeat other opponents, and collect as much Aeos energy as possible. At first, the Pokemon will start again at level 1, after leveling up in the match, the player can unlock powerful moves like Unite Move.

Players who pre-register for the mobile version of Pokemon UNITE will receive an Aeos Ticket that can be used to purchase upgrade items, a Pikachu license, and a Pikachu Festival Style Holowear. These rewards are available on the iOS and Android versions of the game, and players just need to log into the game before October 31 to claim them. Unfortunately, Pokemon Unite is currently not available in Vietnam, so if you want to experience this game, players will need to spoof the IP in another country.
