PUBG Mobile will hold its first virtual concert later this month with the hit K-pop girl group Blackpink. The four girls will perform a special song, specially composed for the event, at in-game concerts.
Players can get their free tickets in-game starting this Friday, July 15, and pre-load the concert resource pack the next day to attend the concert. The concerts will be held in-game in two phases: the first from July 23-24, and the second from July 30-31. In addition to the hits they have become famous for, Blackpink will release a new song and music video written specifically for the PUBG Mobile Collab stage.

In-game concerts are nothing new, PUBG’s rival Fortnite has hosted concerts with many famous artists like Travis Scott and Ariana Grande. Fortnite can even be seen as something of a metaverse for concert activities. However, the first concert of PUBG Mobile is also looking forward to it because the guests are one of the most famous groups in the world.
A press release from publisher Tencent Games says: “Fans will be able to get the true Blackpink experience, not only by going to the concert, but also by receiving custom outfits that the four girls wore during the performance. Players can start receiving these skins from July 23 to August 31. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa’s eye-catching outfits are sure to make players shine on the battlefield.”
