The next Blizzard will give players the chance to experience Diablo 2: Resurrected, a new version of one of the most popular games the company has ever developed, before its official release on September 23. Players can enjoy beta versions of Diablo 2: Resurrected this month.
According to Blizzard, in this test, players can choose from 5 different classes such as Amazon, Barbarian, Sorceress, Druid, and Paladin. Players who pre-ordered Diablo 2: Resurrected (or Diablo Prime Evil Collection) can experience the early beta from August 13-17 local time. The remaining players will be able to participate in the test approximately one week later, from 2:00 a.m. on August 21 to 2:00 a.m. on August 24.
The beta version will be available on platforms such as PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5 and PS4, not available on Nintendo Switch. Blizzard also supports cross-platform play in this beta, players can freely coordinate with friends and explore the game on many different platforms while keeping everything they’ve earned.
Blizzard launched the Diablo II: Resurrected open beta right against the backdrop of its scandal that has shown no sign of cooling off. That is why some players did not hesitate to express that they would not buy or play this game as a way to support the studio employees who have been harmed. Currently Blizard is also facing a lot of criticism and a big boycott movement from the gaming community.
