New World – RPG developed by Amazon, currently one of the most popular games on Steam. However, this game still has a lot of issues that make gamers cry, such as graphics card destruction.
A similar situation happened when New World was still in beta, which caused many EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 graphics cards to burn up. At the time, Amazon gave an answer that the problem was with these graphics cards, and EVGA also admitted that part of the responsibility was due to the production error of the graphics card itself. Both parties then made adjustments and declared the issue resolved.
But shortly after the game’s official release, history repeated itself. Many gamers have complained that their fan runs faster and the graphics card is unusually hot when playing New World, even when they are waiting in line. Others believe that Amazon’s game is the reason their high-end graphics card “did.”

This time, not only the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 but also the Gigabyte 3080 Ti OC Eagle 12G also encountered the problem. Both graphics cards are not cheap, for example Gigabyte 3080 Ti OC Eagle 12G, this product is distributed in Vietnam with prices ranging from 46 to 50 million VND. It’s unclear if the problem lies with New World or if both parties are responsible like last time, but players should be careful with this game for now, at least until the developer claims to have fixed the bug. I don’t want to lose your video card.
