Yesterday (October 4), Shogakukan announced that two spin-offs of the famous Detective Conan manga will get an anime adaptation, Detective Conan: Hannin no Hanzawa-san and Detective Conan: Zero’s Tea Time (Zero’s Tea Party). Shogakukan also released a short teaser introducing the two anime series.
Detective Conan: Hannin no Hanzawa-san is a manga series created by Mayuko Kanba, first published in Shonen Sunday S Magazine in May 2017. Currently this series has 5 volumes and the sixth volume is about to be published. will be released in Japan on October 18. Detective Conan: Hannin no Hanzawa-san mainly revolves around the shadowy criminals that appear frequently in the main series, representing the mysterious perpetrators.
Detective Conan: Zero’s Tea Time is a side story written by author Takahiro Arai, which first appeared in Weekly Shone Sunday in May 2018. This manga only started publishing more chapters after Gosho’s main manga. Aoyama temporarily stopped updating new chapters. The fifth volume of Detective Conan: Zero’s Tea Time is scheduled to be released on October 18.

Detective Conan: Zero’s Tea Time mainly revolves around the daily life of a “triple agent” known as Furuya Rei of the National Police Agency, private detective and cafe waiter Amuro Toru, and a member of the Bourbon Black Organization. It is unclear when these two anime series will officially air.
