The infamous horror game will have a Ghost Summoning Ring

The horror game Phasmophobia will receive a mysterious update next Christmas, with many new features. Now some of those features have been revealed, including a spooky summoning circle that has the ability to change ghost hunting strategies.

In early November, fans discovered content on Kinetic Games’ Trello website related to what is known as the “Christmas update” along with a list of tweaked items.

The Christmas update will bring four new cursed possessions, which could be items that attract ghosts. The list of currently announced items includes voodoo dolls and summoning circles.

Phasmophobia’s gameplay revolves around entering a location, finding evidence, and slowly attracting the ghost. The appearance of the summoning circle can help players speed up the ghost capture time by summoning ghosts to a specific location faster or even setting ghost traps.
