Forza Horizon 5 revealed information about the large map earlier this week. The map has the appearance of a large volcano with lots of sand dunes and there is no shadow from the city races anymore. YouTuber Don Joewon Song posted a 12-minute video giving an overview of this map.
Forza Horizon 5 will bring races that will span many wide, gently winding roads with rows of cacti along the way instead of the familiar deciduous trees. The video follows a 2020 Toyota Supra on a dusty and muddy excursion along the quiet coast of Mexico.
The Forza Horizon franchise has laid the foundation for the open-world racing series, and Playground Games continues to refine their formula with each new Forza Horizon installment. Forza Horizon 5 has improved ray tracing sound technology and improved engine sound. The game will be released on November 9.
