Rumors about the new face of Genshin Impact have finally been confirmed. After version 2.4, the next character is Yae Miko. Yae appeared in the game as an NPC, but Mihoyo recently confirmed that the character will have a wishing banner in 2022.
Yae Miko is one of the main NPCs that Genshin Impact players interact with during the Inazuma story quest. She is the head magician of the Narukami Shrine on Yougou Mountain on Narukami Island. In Genshin Impact’s New Year’s Eve 2021 post on Twitter, Ayaka was Yae’s first guest of the year.

According to the new tweet, Yae Miko is a “descendant of the Kitsune lineage” – Kitsune means “fox” in Japanese – she was once called “fox”. Yae Miko is clearly connected to Yae Sakura from Honkai Impact 3 (another Mihoyo game). Hai Yae is even voiced by actor Ayane Sakura himself.
